Blue Stripe Flag Banned in Maryland County

Recently, a county executive in Maryland banned a local police station from displaying a blue striped flag, often used to show respect towards officers. This county executive, Marc Elrich, specifically said, “Because it is divisive, the flag will not be posted at the 5th District nor in any public space within the Police Department.” In the past few presidential elections, Maryland has gone blue. Moreover, both of Maryland’s current Senate seats are occupied by Democrats. Thus, without a doubt, Maryland is obviously a liberal leaning state. Marc Elrich is also a member of the Democratic Party. When he calls the flag “divisive,” he is referring to the recent Black Lives Matter movement, which has sparked numerous acts of disrespect shown towards the police force. This movement, mostly made up of radical liberals, has indirectly led to this new ban on the blue striped flag in a Maryland county. Just the fact that this movement has influenced the policies enacted by many liberals shows how easily corruptible those same liberals are. In essence, many radical liberals, like Marc Elrich, have no respect for those who put their lives on the line to protect us.

Below is a picture of a flag identical in style to the one that was banned in Maryland:
